In short

  • 01There are three plans, from €29 to €89/mo + VAT, and all include hosting for the site.
  • 02From Security upwards, the annual domain renewal is included.
  • 03Paying annually saves roughly two months.
  • 04None has a lock-in and the first month is free with a new site.
01

Why a website needs maintenance

A website is not a brochure you print and forget. It lives on a server that needs looking after, depends on certificates that expire, receives automated attack attempts every day and, above all, has to reflect a business that changes: new prices, summer hours, an added service, a team photo that is out of date.

Without maintenance, decay is slow but constant. One day the certificate expires and the browser warns that the site is not secure. Another day the form stops sending emails and nobody notices for weeks. And the prices on the site stop matching the real ones.

Maintenance exists so none of that takes your time. It is not mandatory: the site is yours and you can look after it or pick someone else. But if you would rather forget about it, these plans cover it.

02

The three plans

Every plan includes hosting for the site. From there, each tier adds more protection, more edits per month and more search work.

  1. 01

Webmake Essential (€29/mo + VAT): NVMe hosting and critical patches.

  2. 02

Webmake Security (€49/mo + VAT): annual domain renewal included, daily backups and 2 edits per month.

  3. 03

Webmake Growth & SEO (€89/mo + VAT): domain renewal included, local SEO, monthly reports and up to 2 h of edits.

Which plan to choose

The useful question is not which plan is best, but how much your site will change and how much you depend on being found on Google.

  1. 01

Essential, if your site barely changes and you just want it online, fast and protected.

  2. 02

Security, if you update prices, hours or photos now and then and want to forget about the domain.

  3. 03

Growth & SEO, if you look for customers in your area and want to rank higher on Google and Google Maps.

04

Backups

A backup only matters on the day you need it, and on that day it matters a lot. If an update fails, someone deletes something by mistake or the server has a problem, the backup is what lets you return to the previous state in minutes instead of redoing the work.

On Essential backups are weekly. From Security upwards they are daily, with a 30-day history, so the site can be restored as it was on any day of the last month.

05

Speed and Core Web Vitals

Google measures visitors’ experience with three indicators called Core Web Vitals and takes them into account in its results. A site that is fast on launch day can slow down over time if unoptimised photos are uploaded or external tools are added without control.

Part of maintenance is making sure that does not happen: optimising new images, reviewing what gets added and keeping hosting on NVMe drives, which respond faster than traditional disks.

Thresholds Google considers good
MetricWhat it measuresGood
LCPHow long the main content takes to appear2.5 s or less
INPHow long the site takes to respond to a tap or click200 ms or less
CLSHow much the layout shifts while loading0.1 or less
06

Local SEO and Google Maps

For a business with customers in its area, the Google listing (the one shown on Google Maps with photos, reviews and hours) often brings more calls than the website itself. Growth & SEO includes work on that listing and on the site so they reinforce each other.

It also includes one blog article a month. Each article answers something your customers search for, which gives Google reasons to show your site in more searches.

What helps most on Google Maps

  • Name, address and phone identical on the site and the listing.
  • Correct main category and always up-to-date hours.
  • Real, recent photos of the premises, team and work.
  • Customer reviews, answered politely, including negative ones.
07

How to request changes

Write what you need in the client area, with screenshots if helpful. We publish it and let you know in the same thread, so you keep a history of every change.

A typical edit is updating a price, replacing a photo, adding a service or changing opening hours. If what you need is bigger, like a new section, we tell you beforehand how long it takes so you can decide.
